Paul characterzation

Paul/antagonist characterization

  • Cunning, persuasive, confident, sly, doomed
  • Direct characterization: Paul is a very 3 dimensional character constantly evolving and changing. “paul said “so now what? You fight through my men you kill Hundreds just for what? You do it just for none of this to matter. “
  • Indirect characterization: a good example is how he acts towards most people. Hes very friendly kind and well spoken. And through the way he acts aswell shows his need to try and change the future.
  • Thoughts: he has many thoughts throughout the story though most of them deal with him thinking out ways to prevent the futures prophecy from coming true.
  • Actions: his actions speak loudest to what type of person he is. Through the whole story he is made out to be the villain when in reality his actions make him an almost hero like character.
  • Speech: he is very well spoken and always gets what hes saying across. Good example of this is when he says “your blinded by the need to sav everyone you cant accept the possibility that casualties must happen in order to save the rest .
  • Affect: he has a generally neutral to almost positive affect on the story. He affects the protagonists negatively but everyone else he affects neutrally or positively
