Your digital footprint could affect your future because it can make you look good on your work resume or if your applying for a college. It can also affect you in a bad way too. If you have a bad digital footprint or a bad record that was recorded, then if your applying for a job or university then it will affect you in a bad way. The person interviewing you will see your bad digital footprint and will be less likely to hire you.

2. Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.

Don’t use too much personal information so people can’t use that against you. Don’t post rude comments so in the future you will have a better record. Don’t let other people access your account so they can’t post personal information and use it against you. If someone else has your account they can also post or comment false or rude things.

3. If you could go back in time, is there anything you would do differently online? Think of what type of advice you would pass on to your younger self or other students. How could you go about explaining it to them?

I can’t think of anything right now but if I were to explain it to them I would tell them easily and not be too hard on them. I would also tell them the info easily and not too confusing.
