My digital footprint can affect my future opportunities by if my parents see something that I have posted on social media which was rude or inconsiderate will affect how much my parents will trust me with using technology and social media, and if my employer sees something that I have posted in the past or something that I have posted when I was excited or mad could jeopardize my opportunity in that job.

Three strategies that I can use to keep my digital footprint appropriate and safe are, what will my parents and peers think of me when I post this and how will affect my life and what impact it will have, keeping your information on social medial only available to your self and your friends and family members, and last but not least is to not to be associated with things that can shade a bad light on you when an employer will search you up and then see a inappropriate video or picture about yourself.

If I could go back in time I would tell my younger self that to create more posts that are more about myself, I would do this so I do not have to be like anyone I could just be my own person.
