The Core Competencies are about you – who you are as a learner, and where you are on your learning journey.  The Core Competencies are at the heart of how you interact with the curriculum and your school community.  This part of your learning is not about grades, or achievement – it’s about reflection, goal setting, and, ultimately, a greater understanding of who you are!

This is your online portfolio of your learning journey during your time at Gleneagle.  This blog will be featured in your learning updates and will be the building blocks of your Grade 12 Capstone Project (a requirement for graduation!).  It can also be used for job, post-secondary, or scholarship applications.

Over the course of the year, you will be working on gathering evidence of your learning.  You should have at minimum 10 posts per year and have artifacts that show your learning from all subject areas that connect to all Core Competencies.
