Eminent Learning Center

Here is the link to my learning center for my eminent person: Richard Feynman.

There is a quiz in the description of the video. I will also provide a link to the quiz here: https://tinyurl.com/yy6wlq4u

Kavyan! I’ve watched this three times and still don’t understand… I think I’ll stick to words. Well done! I really like the Power Point/You Tube fusion!

I really liked the video about Feynman diagrams. I love it when there is a system in place so that everyone can be on the same page about conveying ideas and concepts.

Which sub-atomic particle is your favourite and why?

    • Kavyan · December 12, 2020 at 4:22 am ·

Among all the difference sub-atomic particles, I would have to say that quarks are my favourite. The reason I would pick quarks is because all matter is made up of elements, which are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons, which are made up of quarks. I am unsure which of the six quarks is my favourite (up, down, top, bottom, charm, strange), but for now, I would have to go with the quark.

Hey Kavyan, your video is really cool! You explained a complex physics concept in a really clear way. Richard Feynman is a pretty cool guy. I remember doing research on him last year in Science class.
One question that I have: what is another scientific accomplishment made by Richard Feynman?

    • Kavyan · December 12, 2020 at 4:26 am ·

Hi Mike! I hope you enjoyed the video! As for your question, there are many scientific accomplishments by Feynman, but one of the more popular ones is that he was awarded the Nobel prize in Physics in 1965 for his work in quantum electrodynamics, joint with Julian Schwinger and Shin’ichirō Tomonaga.

      Thanks for the question,

      Kavyan

Creative and insightful presentation. If you had to pick one personality trait you admire most in him what would it be and why? See me about some interesting books.

Hello, thanks for the comment! If I had to pick one personality trait about him that I admire most, I would have to pick his ability to be friendly to nearly everyone he knew. Being a teacher, you have to get along with your students, or else they won’t learn as well, and while Feynman might not have been so friendly for this reason, I would love to mimic his friendliness.

      Thanks for the question,

      Kavyan
