Noni was a pet store reject. Some family adopted him when he was a kitten and then changed their minds. I’ll never understand how anyone can give up an animal, but I try not to judge. When he was three, he found himself in a shelter. He didn’t stay there long, however, as someone else swooped in and adopted him. Flash forward two weeks. Whoever adopted him from the shelter returned him. For the second time, Noni found himself without a home. Cue Adam, and five years later, cue me. I have had Noni for five years. I can’t imagine my life without him. Each day, I marvel at his resilience. Despite being re-home three times and moving more than six times, Noni manages to adapt to every environment and situation.
