A digital footprint is data left behind by users on digital services, so if you have a bad digital footprint it can really affect you in your life, for example: If you have photos on social media of you doing bad things, they will think that you do bad stuff and will not hire you. second example: If you had a previous job and you posted photos of you and customers at work and posted them on social media, that will make it harder to get another job.

To keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe you need to do these 3 things, Ask your parents to look at the photo before posting it, ask yourself if its safe and appropriate, would your teacher be OK with seeing that post.
3. If you could go back in time, is there anything you would do differently online? Think of what type of advice you would pass on to your younger self or other students. How could you go about explaining it to them?
if i could go back in time i wont change anything, because i keep my social media private, and i only let people i know see my posts.
