Eminence

Even though I breifly talked about my eminence in this video, I wanted to talk more about my impact to this world and why exactly someone like you may think I am eminent. My giftedness comes from my courage and determination to succeed. That is one of the biggest trait that seperates me from others. I always try to shock the world with what I have next. The start to my rise in success was because I dressed provacatively as a high school student, something nobody would have expected from me. I’ve always been gifted since I was little. When I began to lose the one thing I had loved, I knew what I had and went all the way to a record label to try and get signed. To get signed at such a young age as a confused teenage girl helped me develop into a buisness woman. When I was given the opportunity to sing “Baby One More Time”, after TLC refused to sing it, I knew that I had to take the chance. Even with the song not being written for me, I managed to make it mine and sing it the way I knew the world would like it, and I was right. I knew pop music was coming back at the same time, so I jumped on the pop train and now I’m seen as the icon who changed the teen-pop industry. That wasn’t the only thing I brought that was new. It was my performances. Having a deep passion for performing, I knew that every time I went and performed, I would have to blow people away. I worked hard to reach to the level of selling concerts out, and my drive to stand out stayed with me all the time. I have set unprecendented records and performances such as kissing Madonna. A woman who I had looked up to for my entire music career. I am a goal achiever and I am among the top artists of the 2000s for a reason.

the video was really well done and definitely captured Brittany spears voice. I learned a lot about her pre-conservator ship. do you know if she plans to continue making music after her conservator ship was ended?

      Hi Carolyn!!!!

So yeah! I think that you know, I do eventually want to sing again because I’ve never really lost interest, and now that I have more freedom, I’m excited about what I’m able to do!!! I just think maybe not right away though, because it hasn’t been long since the conservatorship ended so I’m still just trying to do what I’ve really wanted to do for a long time.

I loved the use voice in your project! Your design was very clean and polished, and I liked how you were able to showcase some of your music in the video. I wonder, what would you say was the highlight of your career?

      Hey Hannah!!
I’d say the highlight was probably when I first released “…Baby One More Time”. I say that because at that time, I was just a confused teenage girl just excited that people liked my music and I wasn’t getting so wrapped up in the media all the time.

Britney, you practically grew up in the spotlight. A lot of other child stars, whether in your time or after, have experienced the negative impact of constant media attention. Given all that you’ve been through, what advice would you give to other young artists who are trying to make it (or maybe even are already making it) in the industry?

      Hi Ms. Lee!!!!
To young artists trying to make it or are making it right now, I would probably just say to be yourself. It’s cliche, but like that’s something I wish I knew when I first started out, because that would have made my music just so much better for me. It’ll make the music more authentic and it’s good to be known for who you are, and not just as someone everyone else wants you to be.

I liked how you synced the adding of information and changing of slides (kind of, I can’t think of a better term) with the beats of the song. I like how you showed the human side of having so much attention and publicity on you, and how fame can cause people to suffer. Do you think that the conservatorship was warranted and/or could have been avoided in some way?

      Hi Braeden.
So like I definitely don’t think the conservatorship was warranted, I meat to be forcefully stuck in one was really terrible. I don’t know that it could have been avoided. I wish it was, but I mean all the things that led up to it like my divorce with my husband probably aren’t things I could do much about.

I loved the design of your video, the emojis were interesting and I also like how your slides sometimes change with the beats. You went through a lot throughout your life, and this conveyed how you felt about it all. I am wondering, how do you think your life would be effected if you weren’t so persistent with your goals?

      Hi Mandy!!

You know, I’m sure one way or another I would have come back to music. However, I think it might have taken a longer time for me to realize and who knows how old I would have been before I realized. I think I would have missed out on a lot of my personal achievements I’ve made growing up.

Wow your learning centre and video are super incredible! I really learned a lot! You seem like such an incredibly motivated person, and I was wondering what you think are the main things that pushed you to continue fighting, even when you faced so many challenges?

      Hey Emma!

I think just getting to experience the positive out weighed all the negatives throughout everything. I just never think I can give up music because I just love it so much, I mean it’s something I know I’m good at so I don’t want to give it up.

I really liked the video. The music was engaging and the hook at the start was good. I also enjoyed how you elaborated further on your own eminence below. You gave a great argument for why you are eminent. I am wondering, if you continue to make music will you still make teen-pop? Or will you transition into another genre?

      Hey Lucas!!!

So to be honest, I kind of leaned away from teen-pop just a couple years after my debut. I released a song titled “I’m a Slave 4 U” to actually make that change point from teen to sort of adult pop. So I would probably stick with some sort of pop, but who knows, I might end up trying something new.

That was a really fun learning centre, Britney! Great job! I remember growing up and listening to your music a lot. I also remember that the media was really hard on you and you were pretty manipulated by your family and managers (way before the conservatorship). How do you think that those things led to your mental health challenges and public breakdown? What do you think could have been done by the people around you to better support you through all of this?
