Make a scene does a great job of demonstrating the effect of aperture on DOF. The pose shots do the same, but I think you have pushed the ISO a little too high in the small f-stop image because it is grainy. Having said that, I know you were working with available light and you had to work with the limitations of the assignment and the equipment you were using. I am pointing this out only because it’s important to get a feel for these limitations.
