Remote Learning Reflection

I enjoy remote learning because it gives me a chance to see a new style of learning, it gives me perspective and helps me see how some people must learn regularly. I have enjoyed being able to work from the comfort of my home, it helps me think and I am much calmer, giving me a better mindset. Technology has made it much easier for us to do remote learning. We can use zoom and teams to call our teachers and have meetings so that everyone understands what is happening, and everyone feels comfortable with the given work. We can also do our work online which is using less paper and saving the environment. Doing our work online also prevents us from losing our papers, now the work can save to the cloud and we are able to be stress free. Looking at a screen all day has been challenging and my eyes do get sore, but it is worth it because it is saving the environment. Sometimes my Wi-Fi does not work, but I always find ways around it and am able to complete all my work on time. I was very good with communication. When I need help, I always ask and do not hesitate, however that is not a huge problem, because we have teams and Zoom, we can still communicate proficiently. I presented in front of my mandarin class, I presented a full PowerPoint in mandarin and managed to earn a high mark. Critical thinking is a competency that I have greatly improved on over the course of my online learning experience. I must think of more ways to create and submit work sometimes, though it mostly comes easily to me. This is my evidence. I was able to create a PowerPoint after my teacher gave us an option on what to make, and I chose the information precisely so that it would coordinate with my presentation in class.
