Remote Learning Reflection

After almost 3 months of experience in remote learning, I will say it is a pretty dreadful experience for me. Cause the time of a lesson has decreased from 80 minutes to sometimes only 10 minutes which allows us to see the shrink of time for an online class. Personally, I don’t think the online class has benefited me overall. The way technology benefits me is certainly my laptop. I am 100% sure without my laptop a lot of things would actually become hard to do. There are a lot of roadblocks in the way of remote learning. I personally think my eye health is decreasing. and some of the math problems just feel better when you can do it on paper. but the biggest problem is that the online class did not show sufficient like the regular class we’re taking in school. One of the core competencies that I believed I’m proficient at it is definitely communication. Because of the remote learning, sometimes when the teacher did not make a clear point on the class, it required you to ask and understand, which is writing an email about the problem you have, or the things you concern about or even a question that you don’t understand. It basically means you need to create good communication between you and your teacher and that’s the way to improve your grades. The one core competencies I have improved over these days are critical thinking for sure. In remote learning, most of the stuff required you to do it on your own which requires comprehension ability and analytical ability,  which is basically critical thinking. These core competencies are the ones that I improved the most besides communication. Overall, these are my own reflection about eh remote learning system and how I have improved on the core competencies
