My in-depth skill is song writing for the guitar. I will study music theory, learn how the different scales produce unique and write interesting songs. I’ve played guitar for a long time and I’ve spent most of my time learning songs. In the back of my mind, I have always wanted to make my own song. In order to learn how to song writing works, I am going to attend guitar lessons at Tom Lee music. In my guitar lessons I will dissect different songs and see what makes them tick. I feel like understanding and recognizing different song writing and scale techniques will help me become a more versatile guitar player. When I finish my songs, I will ask people around me how it sounds. I think that people are my greatest resource because the purpose of a song is to create a certain feeling, so I can simply share my work with them and gather input to see if I created the desired vibe.
