Eminent Person Review Reflection

While reading my group-member’s blogs, a learned a lot about the struggles that all of their eminent people went through. I found that there was great variety in each of their chosen people: some chose musicians, others chose scientists, or athletes. I learned about their achievements and great feats of human perseverance, and learned a bit about how our current world was shaped into what it is. I received helpful feedback from their comments, like how I should have a more even balance between emphasizing eminence and achievement over person connection, and to add more images to counteract the gigantic block of text I have. Seeing everyone else’s blog posts also helped me see how I should format my blog posts, and how I can make them more aesthetically pleasing. I found that everyone had different styles of writing. To be candid, I found that many of them were a little bit wordy, though they were all very well written. To be entirely candid, I found the blogs that communicated their personal connections to their eminent people more effectively seemed more compelling and passionate than the ones where it took more of a backseat. Even before I read my comments, I realized that I should’ve added more about my connections to my eminent person. I found all of their blogs and eminent people interesting, and reading them was as much of a pleasure that reading giant blocks of text can be on a Sunday afternoon, in which you begin to feel the burning regret of not doing it on the day it was assigned.
