[eminent] wang zhenyi – virtual learning center

Welcome to my virtual Night of the Notables Learning Center! I’m Wang Zhenyi, an astronomer, poet, mathematician, scholar, and a fierce advocate of social justice from the mid-1700s Qing dynasty. Today, I’ll demonstrate how and why I’m considered one of the most relevant and prolific scholars of the Qing Dynasty in my personal online portfolio – the password is eminent2020.

Thank you for your time today, and I hope you had a pleasant and interesting experience! Feel free to leave a comment and/or question below, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

  1. My poetry lines did not get added due to account issues. Here it is.

The oceans so deep and so shallow.

    Creatures hide and then appear.

  2. Wow! I learned so much from this learning centre! It is clear that your Eminent person has done so much for the world! 🙂

    1. Though there were advantages to living in imperial China, the gender and class inequity and corruption were truly unbearable. Luckily, though the world still requires more work, the world seem to have advanced from imperial China.

  3. I loved your presentation – especially the poetry activity! Zhenyi, you are truly an inspiration and deserve so much more credit for your work!

    1. Thank you for your kind words! Chien-Shiung, you are also such an inspiration as an accomplished woman in the STEM field. Great job!
