1. How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least two examples.

My digital footprint may affect my future opportunities by. First of all, people such as my parents, bosses, friends, and other people can see stuff that I don’t want to show. This can ruin my personal picture and make it harder to get jobs, make friends, and gain trust. It can also affect me by showing others somethings that don’t reflect who I am. I can post something and it make people think things that don’t show who I really am.

2. Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.

Three strategies that I could use are first acting the same way I would act in real life. I should use the same precautions as I would in real life to stay safe. Next, using common sense if I don’t think it is a good idea then I shouldn’t post it. If I don’t think it through before posting then I might make a mistake and regret it. Lastly, I shouldn’t post inappropriate things because I will regret them. If I post something that isn’t appropriate to someone  they might thing of me poorly.

3. If you could go back in time, is there anything that you would do differently online? Think of what advice you would pass on to your younger self or other students.

I haven’t made any mistakes online thankful and there for there isn’t any thing that I would do differently. Some advice would be just to use common sense and act online the same as you would in real life.
