In-Depth Blog Post #6

Welcome to my sixth in-depth blog post:

How will I present my project?

My project is a game I coded using python for the game mechanics, and pygame for graphics and inputs. This means that I can only display my project on the computer, so I will bring a laptop and set it up with the game open for people to play. Then I can explain how the game works, as well as some of the code behind it, and let them have a go at the game. My game is a maze game, so if I have time, I could make some extra mazes, so that people aren’t doing the same one over and over again.

How will my audience interact with my project?

The way I’m presenting it will allow the audience to interact with my work first-hand, and hopefully have fun doing it. Something I want to try to get across to my audience is the point of the project and why I chose it. I want to do this because the game itself doesn’t look too impressive, and that’s because I did it all from complete scratch, making every function and graphic myself, with the help of my mentor. I also want to mention that this is a game I played very often when I was in elementary school, and how it felt great making the game myself using code.
