  1. Brianna, I loved watching your TED Talk! I had no idea that algae could be used as a food source! I was hooked from the first sentence, and I can tell that you really care about your topic! Your slides are also really neatly organized with made it easy to follow along. You made it really difficult for me to find a wish, since everything was so well-done! I think something that would add to your presentation would be a time-lapse of algae growing, but, other than that, I really couldn’t find anything I would change. My question for you is: will you personally grow spirulina for consumption in the future?

    • Thank you for the kind words and suggestion Grace! Yes, for my science experiment I will be growing my own spirulina at home and hope to eventually eat it if all goes well 🙂

  2. Hello Brianna! Wow, your presentation was amazing! I learned so much and found it super interesting! My star would be that the images and text on the slides were very helpful to better understand all the information. One wish I have would be that there was a lot of background noise in the audio and maybe if there had been less background noise it might have been a bit clearer. But I loved your presentation and I learned so much! 🙂
One question I have is what do you think is the main reason we do not all grow and eat algae at our homes today throughout the world?
Thank you for your incredible presentation!
    -Emma

    • Hi Emma! Thank you so much for the feedback! This was my first time recording audio for a PowerPoint, so I’ll take the background noise into account for future presentations. As for your question, I think the main reason that algae isn’t used as a universal food source is that algae are also known to be toxic at times, which is true but shouldn’t be too much of an issue if the algae are grown in a controlled environment.
