  1. Hey Mark! Nice PowerPoint. The graphics were cute and I think using that simulator was a good way to show exactly how water affects flight altitude and velocity. If weight wasn’t a problem, do you think more water would still be a problem? And if it is, to how much water would it be a problem?

  2. Hi Mark,
I really like listening to your TALON Talk, it was fill with lots of useful information and facts. One thing that you could do for next time to improve your TALON Talk is to make the voice recordings start when it goes to the next slide, but other then that you did a great job! My question for you is does the air pressure have to do anything with the flight time of the bottle rocket?
    Thanks,
    Matthias

  3. This was a fun presentation to watch. I like how you used an example from your own childhood in the beginning. I also like how you used a simulator and conducted tests yourself, and provided a graph. One thing I would recommend is having the title slide match the theme of the rest of the slides. One question I have is why is the perfect amount of water 40% and not 50% in slide 5?

  4. Nice job Mark.
I like how you used many diamgrams, charts, and graphs, as well as made good use of the space available to you. I found it very cool that you found a simlulator online which you used as a sort of test experiment, and showed the results. The introduction was probably my favourite part as you chose a topic that had a story behind it, and did a good job telling the story.
A question I have is: What air pressure is ideal for the rocket to fly the highest, without exploding the bottle considering it is a normal plastic water bottle?

  5. Great job Mark!
I like how you included numerous graphs as these helped get your points across. I found it very cool that you found a simulator to test your thinking. I have one question for you: how does the diameter of the nozzle affect the height of the bottle rocket.
