Great job! I really enjoyed your enthusiasm! I am wondering about your family tree and how it comes to you? Also, how did you find out that Oliver was related to you?

Hey Glen. Thanks for the Compliments! I found out about my family tree from my dad. He has an interest in learning about our ancestors so he shared the family tree with me. I also found out Oliver was related to me, because of my dad and his mom. Thanks again!

Interesting to pick someone that makes you reflect on your own background.

Hello Ms. Chambers! Yes, I thought it was an interactive and productive way to learn about my ancestry. Thank you for commenting on and watching my learning center!

Why do you think it is important to learn about your ancestors?
December 12, 2020 at 3:39 am
I think it’s important because it can show you where you came from and where your roots sprouted from. It can also tell you a lot about yourself, for example, your personality or even what you look like. I just find it a really interesting subject to think and learn about as well. Thanks!

Firstly, I love the music. Secondly, when you first were researching eminent people was he your first choice? If so what drew you to him the most.
December 12, 2020 at 4:03 am
Hey Colby! He was my first choice for my eminent person. I was drawn to him because my dad had told me stories about him when I was growing up and I always found him really interesting because of that. I also have an interest in learning about my ancestors and this was a great way to learn! Thanks for the nice comment!

Natalie,
I think your choice of format is a thoughtful match for the personal connection you have to your eminent subject. It was interesting to learn about another way that Canada has forged connections with other countries/cultures.

Creative and insightful presentation. If you had to pick one personality trait you admire most in him what would it be and why? I just found many documents about our families trees in a box last week.

Hello Ms. Mulder. I like his persistence because if he wasn’t persistent he wouldn’t have achieved as much as he did, and who knows what the medical side of things would be like. I hope you have time to go through those documents because that can be very interesting. Thanks!
