Recently, I had the chance to watch a virtual slam poetry competition, which, whilst being quarintined, was as close to the real thing as possible.
Mentorship is going fairly well, but there really is no comparing the benifits of face to face interactions with digital communications.
As far as my poetry is concerned, it’s been fairly difficult for me to focus on writing recently. So, I’ve mostly been practicing my presentation skills. I’m been doing some rehearsing in front of my cat (who is currently the only willing audience memebr I feel comfortable presenting in front of, and happens to live with me).
